Mechanicsville Recreation Association (MRA) has been a staple in the Mechanicsville community since 1959.  We are a nonprofit community-centered pool conveniently located in old town Mechanicsville, just south of I-295 & Route 360, and have been dedicated to providing a safe recreational and family-friendly leisure facility for our members and their guests for multiple generations.  MRA promotes a positive community focused environment with an objective give our families a fun, safe place for summertime activities for our youth and adults.

MRA offers a large pool deck, seasonal swimming, diving boards, baby pool for our smallest members, picnic tables with umbrellas, plenty of poolside lounge chairs and tables and more.  

Mechanicsville Rec is home to our MRA Marlins swim team, who compete in the Greater Richmond Aquatic League (GRAL).
